I used to laugh when dad would tell the stories of mom thinking there was an earthquake at night, or seeing a red glow, only to find out she was sleeping. I'm wondering if it's genetic. I had the funniest thing happen to me the other night. I woke up around 3 or 4 in the morning and thought my blankets had become a giant ball surrounding the whole bed. It had turned from the color of my sheets to a black glowing orb all around me. I got up on one elbow and reached with my other hand as high as I could to try and pull it back down.
At this point I was leaning against Steve with my hand reaching up right over him. He opened his eyes and let out a really loud yell. Then asked what the heck I was doing. I proceded to tell him, "ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!" Needless to say, he thinks I'm psychotic, and every time I think about that scene, I start laughing. WEIRD DREAM?
