For the past two weeks the boys Conner's age have had a Deacon's Basketball Tournament. There are 14 boys between the ages of 12 and 13 in our ward who played on the team. They are all pretty good, most of them play basketball with each other on a daily basis. Their first game was a week ago and they won, the score was 75 to 15, and by the 3rd quarter they stopped trying so the other team could get more points.
This weekend they had the final games of the tournament, they played one team at 10am and lost, then they played at 1pm and won, 2pm and won, and at 3pm they played against the team that they had lost to for the tournament championship. It was exciting for them to finally beat that team as well, and come home the Stake Basketball Champions. What a fun day for Conner...tiring, but really fun.
