About a month ago, the weather was getting colder, and they said it was going to freeze over night, so I decided to pull up all of my tomato plants. I kept the green tomatoes in a bucket to see if they would ripen. Apparently my neighbors had the same idea. When they found out that I had been making salsa out of the tomatoes, they would bring me all of their ripe tomatoes too!
This morning I had this many ripe tomatoes....
This afternoon, I have this much more salsa to go in my food storage. I LOVE being able to put up the fruits and vegetables out of my garden. Thanks for teaching me to love canning mom!!
