Big Steve had an amazing Saturday. He went for a horseback ride to "Mormon Cave". There was a group of riders who went. It's located in the Oquirrh Mountains, at the point of the mountain, right above Lake Point. It's a large cave that looks man-made, and there are some names carved into the rock with dates around 1850. He really enjoyed the ride, and I think he wants to take Kaylea up there on a ride in a couple of weeks.
Steve was also invited to the Jazz/Laker's game that evening. I guess it was a real nail biter. It came down to the last minute and the Jazz lost by 1 point. Steve had a great time with his friend Paul who has season tickets. He took some videos while he was there, but the kids say they're a little bit freaky, so I won't post them.Mother's Day was really nice. Conner had been asked to speak in church, he did a really great job, I was so proud of him. Jessica and Chris came and spent the day with us, they came before church with a gift that they went in on with Steve. I was so excited. I've wanted a mother's ring for such a long time. Kaylea got me a necklace and earrings that were adorable, and Conner made me a clay cup that holds pens by the phone. It's really nice. Steve jr says his gift is in the mail. I felt so spoiled! We barbecued steaks with a gazillion mushrooms! It was yummy!
