Well, it's about 2:00 am, Christmas morning, and I'm wide awake. I was driving Steve crazy tossing and turning. So I thought I heard my blog calling... Tonight we went to Steve's parents' house for our annual Christmas eve dinner. It was a little bit different this year because of the weather. It usually takes us an hour to get there, tonight it took 2 hours through a snowstorm, but we had a wonderful time with good food, and good company. Steve's parents gave Jessica a birthday present, it was a diamond ring that grandma promised to her when she was young. It's so beautiful. We did a nativity with all the cousins. Conner was Joseph, Kaylea was the star of Bethlehem, Steve was a shepherd, and Jessica sang to us. I'll post a couple of pictures, but most will be on flickr. Then I'll try sleeping again... wish me luck.
