It's nice when you can sleep in on Christmas morning. The kids are excited, but prefer their sleep. We had such a nice morning, the highlights were the gifts from Santa. Conner wanted a mountain bike, Kaylea spends so much time with my digital camera, I can't find it. The sales this time of year are great, it makes thes things so affordable. It helped us pay for the other gifts. Steve got the Jared's red truck. We got it running safe again, and I think he was really excited. Jess got a laptop, she bought one last year for $50.00, it really can't do anything. We thought she could use a new one for college.
We spent the morning relaxing at home, then went to Salt Lake to visit Steve's grandparents. LoaJean had a really nice meal waiting for us, and we spent time talking, and looking at scrapbooks from whenSteve was a boy, his dad Dave was a boy, and even pictures of Steve's Grandma Collings as a girl. It was really neat.
This evening we took the kids to see the movie "National Treasure" and I am ending the day perfectly in my new cozy jammies, eating smoked oysters in front of the fire, and playing on my blog again. This has been such a relaxing holiday, it was fun to talk with mom and dad. Love you guys.
