Erin lives in the perfect place for a parade. Her house sits right on the parade route. She has nice shady trees in the front yard, and lots of grass to sit on. These are 3 of my nieces waiting for the candy to be thrown. Jessica, Kaylea, and Conner helped their cousins to get the candy, and not go too far into the road.
Conner was able to catch a frisbee, a ball, and lots and lots of candy. He also lit a lot of fireworks for the cousins to see, and had a really fun day.
Steve just relaxed in his chair for the whole parade. He drank pop, soaked in the sun, and laughed at the small town marching bands and floats.
