MORP

The name for the girls choice dance here in Grantsville is MORP... prom backwards. Jessica and Sage just had MORP last night. I think the things they ended up doing were a lot of fun for them. Jessica invited Brian Peterson, and Sage invited Marty Reukert. They went to the Gateway (an outdoor mall) and took a pad of art paper and colored pencils, water colors, and markers. They sold portraits of people for 25 cents each. They ended up making about $4.50. I think a few customers were somewhat satisfied.... Then they used their money to take their chances at the claw machine. (I don't know what it's really called) They were able to get two very large water balls with plastic spikes, (again, I don't know what they are called) from the claw machine. Both of the water balls popped, and that's when the fun began. Jessica started to blow it up like a balloon. This gave Marty and Brian the idea of putting it on their heads and blowing it up with their noses! They then ran through the fountains with these giant spikey ballons on their heads, chasing kids, and making fools of themselves. (Isn't that what teenagers do?) They came back to our house for dinner. They had to draw out of a hat what they would eat with, and what they would eat on... the table, or a plate. Sage ate on a plate with a spaghetti server, Marty ate on the table with an ice cream scoop. Jessica ate on the table with a rubber spatula, and Brian ate on a plate with a pastry brush. They had a wonderful dinner of salad, spaghetti, and ice cream. Then they went to the dance, got pictures, came back to our house for a video, and went home. The boys they asked were really nice, and very funny, I think they had a great time.
