It's such a blessing having Steve be the Stake President. When it came time for Kaylea to be set apart as a missionary, we were able to do it on our own schedule. Steve actually had 2 other missionaries to be set apart tonight, and then a few interviews, so he knew he wouldn't be home until a bit later. We really wanted all of our kids to be there if possible. Modern technology is AMAZING!!! We were able to have Conner there on SKYPE, and Jessica on FACETIME. Both programs where they can talk with you face to face, and we can see each other. Both kids called us, and were able to watch as Kaylea was given a blessing.
We actually haven't had an opportunity to get a family picture with us all together since before Steve left on his mission, and it doesn't look like we will have that opportunity any time soon, so I asked if we could all smile for a "Family" picture. Everyone thought that was a great idea. So here it is, our final family picture for at least 18 months. Thanks to two computers, and an automatic camera! I love, love, love my family, and loved having a chance to all be together before Kaylea leaves.
