Steve and I are pretty well known at the local Mexican restaurant, we visit there at least 2 or 3 days a week. The waitress usually knows our order by heart. On Thursday we went for lunch and I decided to order something I've never had before. I asked them what carnitas are. They said shredded pork. I thought it sounded really good. When they brought it out, I was kind of disappointed. The meat looked overcooked, and was kind of dry, I was surprised, because I've never had a meal there that I didn't like. I was wishing I had chosen something else. On Thursday night it came back with a vengence. I got food poisoning. I believe this was a first for me, but if not, it was the worst upset stomach I can ever remember! I was up all night throwing up, and was in bed all day Friday, and most of the day Saturday. It was MISERABLE!
