My parents are traveling through Utah on their way to Washington; they're staying with each of their kids for a couple of days. On Sunday and Monday they stayed with Lee. He invited us all to come up for Sunday dinner. It's fun to see everyone. We are only missing 3 siblings, that's pretty good for our large family.
Now it's my turn to have them stay with me; it's been so much fun. They came on Tuesday and we went to lunch at Casa Del Rey in Grantsville. I'm learning that my dad is quite a flirt! The waitress thought he was really nice.
After lunch we hung out at our favorite store in Tooele, Deseret Industries! That's kind of a tradition when mom comes into town. She and I have been going thrift store shopping since I was old enough to babysit and pay for my own bargains! Dad stayed in long enough to find a couple of books and shirts, then he went out in the car and read the book he'd found while the ladies kept shopping. We stopped at Walmart... can't go to Tooele and not stop at Walmart! Dad was feeling very generous, he bought each of us something. Erin and I got watches, and Jamie and mom got sunglasses. 
Tuesday night, Steve and I took mom, dad, and Jamie to Tepanyaki. We almost forgot to take a picture, and the one we did get was a little bit blurry, but you get the idea. We actually had the entire restaurant to ourselves. Our chef was really funny. He did a great job! The food was amazing.
On Wednesday I went with mom and my sisters to get pedicures. My sister Jamie had a birthday last month, and I told her that while she was in town, we'd go get a pedicure for her birthday. It was a really fun morning.
That afternoon, Kaylea had another cross country meet. We took mom and dad up to Morgan to see the cross country race. We also took Steve's mom, Marcia, and sister in law Caity with her baby Zoe. Kaylea did really well. As we expected, the two girls she's been battling with were very strong, and Kaylea came in 3rd place for the team, but her time was consistent with the other races at 22:30. Marcia treated us all to fresh strawberry shakes... they were AMAZING!
