Beautiful Bear River

Today Kaylea had a track meet at Bear River high school, in Tremonton. Talk about a beautiful day! It was 80 degrees outside, the sun was shining, it couldn't be more perfect! Steve's dad came up to watch her run, and my sister Tera decided to bring the kids from Logan to the race. What a fun surprise to have so many "Kaylea fans" out there cheering her on.

My nephew TJ was halarious, he absolutely loves Uncle Steve. He climbed all over him, and the entire time we were there, he kept showing things to Uncle Steve, and bringing Uncle Steve treasures, (a rock, a penny, a piece of asphalt) at one point, Kaylea came over and TJ said, "Kaylea, this is Uncle Steve!" Every time the gun would go off, TJ would turn around to look at the race, and it didn't matter if it was boys or girls running, he would shout, "GO KAYLEA!" He was a hoot!

Here are pictures of Kaylea's race. She does so well, she ran the mile in 6:06, and came in 4th place. Then she ran the 1/2 mile and came in 2nd place! (bad mom... I forgot her time) I think when the girls from other schools run against her, they are surprised that she's only a freshman. She is really determined, and works really hard at it.
It was such a nice day, after the races, we went with Steve's parents to Maddox in Brigham City for an amazing dinner.
